Community Service
This was from Beautification Day. The project was to beautify areas around the school. We planted trees, put mulch around different areas, picked up trash, etc.

We do alot of different community service to earn hours for graduation. We do things like Beautification day, Competitions, Parades, Special Events, etc. There are many different things you can do to earn community service hours.
Veteran's Day Parade

We participate in the Veteran's Day Parade every year in Miami Lakes. We represent our school along with many other schools. We march thru Main Street along with our Honor Guard to show our respect for those who have served in the military.

Thank a Veteran
We participate in the Veteran's Day event every year at Applebee's Resturant. We show our respect to those who have served in the military and thank them for their service. Applebee's pays respect and thanks our veterans by giving them free food.
We greet and hold the door open for the veterans. Once they are seated we go around and speak to them and thank them for their service and get to know them a little better. We have conversations and ask them different questions like What branch did you serve for and how long were you active. We also ask them where have they traveled within the military, etc.

Iron Man Challenge
​
We offer food and drinks to those competiting in the Iron Man challenge to keep them hydrated. It is a triathalon event where people have to run, cycle, and swim.
Open House
​
Every year on open house when the teachers get to meet the parents we have cadets at different check points directing and helping the parents find their child's different classrooms so they will not get lost.
